Hi everyone
Just a heads up that a Neotropic Cormorant was photographed yesterday late
afternoon on Conroy Island, Deschenes Rapids by Greg Rand. This is a first
record for the Ottawa-Gatineau district. Birders have been on site since dawn
but no sightings yet. Check all the cormorants you see along the Ottawa River
and inland. Hopefully the bird will return to roost on the island later today.
Good luck,
