Festival of Flight May 10th Afternoon Report

A fairly slow afternoon overall here at Rondeau Provincial Park. Marsh Trail
along with the Pony Barn area have been the best spots for bird activity this
afternoon.

Mourning Warblers have been found at both Log Pond and South Point Trail along
with several other warbler species. 6 Red-headed Woodpeckers were found also at
South point Trail. A Philadelphia Vireo along with 7 Shorebird Species were
found on our afternoon guided bird hike at the Blenheim Sewage Lagoons.

We are hosting another hike tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM for a fee of 10$ per
person. Meet at the Visitor Centre if you would like to participate.

Join us from May 1st until the 20th for the Festival of Flight!

Hike Leader: Peter Simons
