Another fine day in Point Pelee NP for the last day of the Festival of Birds.
Birding has been quite steady with many warblers and flycatchers being sighted.

There was a report of a YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, just down the main road to the
Tip south of the Visitor Centre, but it was not re-found after the initial
report.

The BLACK-BILLED MAGPIE was seen again today flying over Sparrow Field at about
8 am.

So far 22 warbler species have been recorded.

There are reports of several CONNECTICUT and MOURNING WARBLERS. Also noted were
many CANADA WARBLERS.

The Tip was a bit quiet, but the magpie and a CONNECTICUT WARBLER were seen.

The Woodland Nature Trail was quite good for birding with quite a diversity of
warblers and flycatchers, and the PROTHONOTARY WARBLER was still being seen at
bridge F and a pair between A and B.

This is the last formal migration report of the season. Many thanks to all the
birders who came in to provide their sightings for our summaries. See you next
spring!

Good Birding,
