Do I hear 9000? I know the Whimbrel Count has no real goals other than assisting in the conservation of these great birds but we can't help a little competitive enthusiasm seeping through. The total for this year at Whimbrel Point, after today's 215 new migrants now stands at 8,740. 4 days to go, get your money down.
