Earlier today I found what is likely to be an Arctic Tern on the west pier at Bronte Harbour in Oakville. You can see the photos I took of it in my eBird checklist here:
https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S46331158 Most of its features look quite good for Arctic Tern; however, in some of the photos it appears to have a slight darkening at the tip of its bill, which doesn't fit with Arctic Tern. I'm unsure if this dark tip is real, just a smudge on the bill, or a photo artefact – hopefully someone with a better camera than mine will be able to confirm the ID. To get to Bronte Harbour, take Bronte Road south from the QEW, and continue all the way south. Parking is available on the street, and in a large parking lot that's on the right side when you turn left at the very end of Bronte Road. The tern was on the pier on the west side of the harbour; it's viewable from the east side of the pier.
