5 peep species at Owen Point today with multiples of Baird’s, a couple of 
White-rumps and the Western. Nice long decurved bill, bright rufous scaps 
showing next to the folded wing, came quite close for some good photos. At 
least one possibly two Peregrines patrolling the beach and putting the birds up 
regularly. Watched it catch a shorebird out on Gull Island. Also a Red Knot out 
on the island as well.
