Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 14:30:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: Matt Oswald

Observers: Clive Hodder, Eric Single, Keith Sealy

Visitors:
Thanks to Matt and Eric for covering the count today with some afternoon
help from Keith and Clive. Once the sun came out a few others were down to
the site as well.

Weather:
A bit of a weird day for weather with a mostly clouded over sky to start
and then filling in completely just a couple of hours in. Temp was
comfortable to start at 15C and remained steady around that with a slight
drop when it clouded over completely. It didn't open up at all till
mid-afternoon. Winds were favourable from the NW and then NNW and finally
straight N.

Raptor Observations:
Not as many birds today as hoped for given the wind direction with a total
of just 58.... a few each of various species with Osprey (2), Bald Eagles
(13), N. Harriers (9), Sharpies (17), Broadwings (8), Am. Kestrels (5) and
Merlin (4).

A Peregrine was spotted heading east bound so was not included in today's
count.

Non-raptor Observations:
Only non-raptor mentioned today was a Chimney Swift.
