Highlights: A return to warmer weather from the south in the latter part of the week has stalled much of the migration that was visible earlier. Here are the highlights of the last 7 days: SANDHILL CRANE - 3 birds were seen near Murvale on 8th. YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER - several sightings this week including 2 at Prince Edward Point on 13th. LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE - a migrant bird was seen at Prince Edward Point on 13th. EVENING GROSBEAK - 4 birds were seen near Crosby on 9th. PINE SISKIN - a single bird was noted near Bedford Mills on 13th with another just outside the area at Puzzle Lake on the same date. BLUE-WINGED WARBLER - a single bird was seen at Prince Edward Point on 13th. MOURNING WARBLER - 1 was seen at Marshlands CA, Kingston on 14th.
