The day began with a temperature of 14.5 C, about 85% cloud cover and light
winds from the northeast. Temperatures rose to a high of 20.5 C and the
winds shifted to the east but remained light to moderate. By 1:30 EST rain

Raptor Observations:
A slow day for raptor migration. It began alright with more than 30

throughout the day. A few resident Bald Eagles were seen, as well as a few
migrants, in addition to a few other species.

Blue Jays began in strong numbers, with 6680 seen in the first hour, but
slowed considerably throughout the day to nothing in the final hour.

An Olive-sided Flycatcher was perched conspicuous on a high bare branch.
A Rusty Black bird was also seen perched near the Martin houses.
A Philadelphia Vireo was seen among a group of warblers.

Monarchs - 38

Predictions:
Rain and thunderstorms is expected for much of the day tomorrow with winds
from the south. Unfortunately the slow day today may be an indication for
another slow day tomorrow.
