Hello Birders!  It’s finally feeling like fall in Ontario and it’s time to 
start planning for the Annual OFO Gull weekend in Niagara Falls!

This year’s weekend will take place on December 1-2 and includes a great Gull 
ID workshop and quiz on Saturday, followed by the field trip the following 
morning.  

A special room rate has been secured for those who book on or before NOVEMBER 
5.  Ask for "OFO Group" room rates of $55/night ($70 for Saturday, December 1) 
plus taxes and parking at the Ramada Hotel by the River, 4357 River Rd at the 
Whirlpool Bridge, Niagara Falls, (905) 358-5555. Please note that the cut off 
date for "OFO Group" room rates is November 5th. The room rate will be 
significantly higher afterwards. 

Weekend Schedule:

Saturday 1 December, Gull ID Workshop  4:30 – 6:00 PM LaMarsh Room, Niagara 
Falls Public Library on Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario. Free parking 
off Buckley Avenue (1 block east of Victoria Avenue via Morrison Street). 
Located five minutes from the Ramada at the Whirlpool Bridge, Niagara Falls, 
Ontario. Gull ID Quiz with Mark Peck and Justin Peter.

Sunday 2 December, OFO Gull Field Trip, 9:00 AM. Meet leaders Josh 
Vandermeulen, Marcie Jacklin and Jeremy Bensette at the Sir Adam Beck Lookout 
on the Niagara Parkway.
