Weather: The temperature ranged from 1C to 7C. Winds were steady NW until early afternoon, then weakened a bit and shifted toward N. Cloud cover ranged from 0% at the start to 100% by the end of the observation period. Raptor Observations: A fair day with just under 700 birds, with Buteos making a strong showing, along with one Northern Goshawk and a couple of subadult looking Golden Eagles. Birds were often high and/or distant, especially later in the day, and so some lacking a consensus ID -- were unfortunately left uncounted. Non-raptor Observations: Some good non-raptors observed today with...
