Observation start time: 10:15:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 4.75 hours

Official Counter: Craig Evans

Observers:

Visitors:
There were no visitors at the tower today.

Weather:
Heavy rain came through in the morning so the start time was delayed. There
was still a little drizzle and low visibility upon commencement of the
count. Light to moderate winds from the west began the day, which
eventually shifted to the northwest. The temperature began at 13.5 C and
fell throughout the count period to 11.5 C in the final hour but it felt
cooler with the wind. Cloud cover was 100% the whole day and visibility
increased to about 6 km.

Raptor Observations:
An immature Red-tailed Hawk was observed today. Despite the northwest
winds, the rain from the morning seemed to be preventing the migration from
coming through. An Osprey that has been hanging around was observed today.

Non-raptor Observations:
A group of 16 Yellow-rumped Warblers flew in for about 10 minutes,
accompanied by a Winter Wren, then flew away.
Only a single American Wigeon was observed, compared to many more last
week. No Blue Jays or American Crows were observed today.
