Weather: Light northwest winds began the day, however they soon switched to the west northwest and eventually the west by afternoon and had also increased to a moderate speed by then. The temperature remained around 0 C all day with mostly cloudy skies, though there were sunny breaks mixed in. Raptor Observations: (41) Red-tailed Hawks and (10) Red-shouldered Hawks were observed today. (4) Sharp-shinned Hawks and (3) Northern Harriers including an adult male "grey ghost" were observed. At least 2 immature and 2 adult Bald Eagles were around throughout the day. The Osprey is still around as well. Non-raptor Observations: Significantly less ducks were in the marsh compared to yesterday, in addition to everything else it seemed. No Great Egrets have been observed in the last few days. A Yellow-rumped Warbler was seen in the morning. American Crows - 1,525 https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S49921647 Predictions: It will be a cool start to the morning, with temperatures in the minus single digits to begin the day.
