Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 5 hours

Official Counter: Chris Burris

Observers: Don Campbell, Keith Sealy

Visitors:
Thanks to Chris B. as official counter today along with observers Don and
Keith. Just one other visitor to the site today.

Weather:
The temperature ranged from -4C to 2C. Winds were moderate NW to start,
then swung SW and weakened by the end of the observation period. Cloud
cover increased from 0% to 60%.

Raptor Observations:
After a long spell of not-great weather, 316 birds were tallied today – not
bad at all for mid-November. Many birds were certainly missed, as their
paths were scattered and often quite high. Four Golden Eagles, plus a low
Northern Goshawk near the knoll, were definite highlights.

Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors included: American Goldfinch, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy
Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, American Crow, European Starling, Pine
Siskin, American Robin, Black-capped Chickadee, Canada Goose, Eastern
Bluebird, Red-winged Blackbird, Horned Lark, Tundra Swan and late
Orange-crowned Warbler.
