Last evening I was sent a picture from my sister in law in Vancouver asking me to identify a picture of a bird that had been seen in Toronto. The 2 pictures she sent me were of a Black-billed Magpie. This morning I was able to find out the bird was seen somewhere near the airport and from the photo I could read the name on the building. I went out there this afternoon and drove around but could not relocate the bird. I was only given sketchy details until just now when I was given the contact information of the person who took the picture. It was yesterday that he observed and photographed a Black-billed Magpie behind 6425 Airport Road. Hopefully someone will be able to refind this bird. Dave Worthington
