Hi everyone,

For those considering a birding trip to Long Point, there is an adult male
Yellow-headed Blackbird frequenting Port Rowan since. He was first notived
on Sunday, but has been especially cooperative today. He has frequently
observed at feeders (mostly empty :| ) along Price St., but has wandered
elsewhere in town. He's calling regularly which is the easiest way to find
him.

Otherwise migration has generally been slow at Long Point, but there are
always some goodies around - White-eyed Vireos have been frequenting Old Cut
with some regularity - never easy to find; four Marbled Godwit were observed
at Lee Browns WMA last Sunday; and 2 American Avocet flew past the Tip
earlier this morning. More to come in the sightings board update at the end
of the week -

interest in the Long Point area, but birds of provincial significance will
also be posted to Ontbirds when appropriate.

Directions: To get to Long Point, follow the birds, or head south on Hwy 59
