Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Tom Bolohan

Observers: Clive Hodder, Keith Sealy, Mary Carnahan, Rose Braxton

Visitors:
Some visitors out today. Thanks to the crew that helped with today's
count... Tom B, Keith S, Mary C, Clive H and Rose.

Weather:
Winds were light from the N and then NE for the day which obviously brought
a bigger flight than expected. A mix of sun and cloud early but 100% cloud
cover for the majority of the count period. Temp was cooler to start at 12C
and climbing to 18C.

Raptor Observations:
A pretty good flight given the early date with a total of 706 raptors
tallied. Of these the majority were as expected Sharpies (269) and the
vanguard of the Broadwings (369) along with Am. Kestrels (30). There were
also smaller numbers of Osprey (4), N. Harrier (9), Redtails (4) and
Merlins (2). Good to see lots of Bald Eagles (19) moving through.

Non-raptor Observations:
None reported. It was noted that Monarch numbers were down slightly today.
