Just saw a female Common Ground Dove in the park at the NE corner of cell 2. Flushed bird up from ground allowing me to see rufous outer wing and dark short tail. On ground was able to see scaly pattern on breast and head, dark marks on wings. Grey brown colour on nape indicating a female. Bird stealthily walked back into goldenrods about 20 minutes ago, Hoping it will reappear.
Tommy Thompson Park is at the base of Leslie Street In Toronto. Cell 2 is halfway out.
