Boomer, aka Erik Van Den Keiboom, found a young male Blue Grosbeak in the Backus complex this morning. The bird is frequenting the newly restored fields just south of Hwy 24 on E. Quarter Line Rd. Associating with INBU, singing infrequently.
A Lark Sparrow was also recently observed on West Quarter Line Rd south of Hwy 60 in South Walsingham forest - newly sewn fields on the west side. As far as I know it hasn’t been observed in a few days.
