Hello all,I just received a video from my mom this morning, asking me to ID a
bird she saw in the front yard at 930AM this morning. She lives at 1570 Old
York Road, Burlington. The bird looks good for a Willow Ptarmigan!!!!!! All
white, short tail, short black beak, grouse-like behaviour foraging along the
ground. She is looking around to see if she can see it right now, but just
wanted to get word out for any local birders that may want to investigate the
area!! Gates of Heaven cemetery may be a good place to look , along with the
roads around this location. Will upload an ebird for her now and update if she
relocates the bird. Of course I am not in Ontario right now ! LolCheers,Andrew
