BARNACLE GOOSE (Durham): The bird found by Dave Worthington on October 1 in Whitby continued to at least October 9 in the vicinity of the intersections of Taunton Rd and Coronation Rd and Halls Rd and Peleshok Dr. Eurasian Wigeon (Bruce): Marilyn Ohler found at male at the pond behind the Independent Grocery Store in Saugeen Shores on October 6 that was seen by many to at least October 9. Eurasian Wigeon (Leeds and Grenville): Mark Patry found a male at Mac Johnson CA on October 8 that was seen by several others to at least October 9. Eurasian Wigeon (Toronto): The one found by Ciara Kelly at Tommy Thompson Park on September 22 was reported October 6. Long-tailed Jaeger (Essex): Several observers photographed and reported a juvenile off the tip of Point Pelee on October 6. Sabine's Gull (Essex): Several observers photographed and reported three juveniles off the tip of Point Pelee on October 6. Sabine's Gull (Hamilton): Rich Poort reported one off Van Wagner's Beach October 4. Sabine's Gull (Lambton): A group of four were found and photographed at Canatara Park on October 8. James Holdsworth and Darrell Parsons reported one off Kettle Point on October 9. Pacific Loon (Simcoe): Dave Szmyr found an adult off Minet's Point in Barrie on October 5 that was reported again the next day by Henrique Pacheco and Kaitlyn Mills. Black Vulture (Niagara): Up to two birds were reported this week from the Queenston area. White-eyed Vireo (Toronto): Chris Kimber reported one from Kings Mill Park on October 8. Black-billed Magpie (OTTAWA): Andy LeBlanc reported one from Yves Richer Park on October 6. Dark-eyed Junco (Oregon) (York): Matthew Buckstein photographed one at Vanhorn Park in Markham on October 4. Harris's Sparrow (Bruce): Michael Butler photographed one near Dorcas Bay on October 8. William Gray photographed one at Holmes Bay in Inverhuron PP on October 10. Harris's Sparrow (Norfolk): One was reported by LPBO staff at the tip of Long Point on October 9. Prairie Warbler (Niagara): Marcie Jacklin, Lynda Goodridge and Maria Featherston reported one in Fort Erie at 6 Mile Creek at Thunder Bay Rd on October 9. Prairie Warbler (Norfolk): Mark and Mike Duchene reported one from Big Creek NWA on October 4.
