My opinion is that a cross-language runtime is undesirable, It's difficult enough to understand multi-person software projects when its all written in a single language. At the application level of providing extensible programs with multiple scripting languages it is awful for the user who wants to know what those scripts are actually doing in forcing them to learn N languages to understand or modify. I've held this opinion since nvi came out with support for multiple scripting languages and i'm sticking to it. _______________________________________________ bitc-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.coyotos.org/mailman/listinfo/bitc-dev
