Greetings. Anyone know how to include an external file in a docbook document based on a RelaxNG schema?
Using the RelaxNG schema for DocBook, how can I create a book that includes external chapters? The online DocBook Definitive Guide, at http://www.docbook.org/tdg/en/html-ng/ch02.html gives the example, using a DTD, of <!DOCTYPE book PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V3.1//EN" [ <!ENTITY nwalsh "Norman Walsh"> <!ENTITY chap1 SYSTEM "chap1.sgm"> <!ENTITY chap2 SYSTEM "chap2.sgm"> ]> <book> &chap1; &chap2; </book> whereas the preamble I am using, using RelaxNG, is <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?oxygen RNGSchema="file:/E:/cygwin/home/gt/util/emacs/nxml-mode-20031031/schema/docb ook.rnc" type="compact" ?> and if I combine hte two as is intuitively appropriate, as in <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <?oxygen RNGSchema="file:/E:/cygwin/home/gt/util/emacs/nxml-mode-20031031/schema/docb ook.rnc" type="compact"[ <!ENTITY nwalsh "Norman Walsh"> <!ENTITY chap1 SYSTEM "chap1.sgm"> <!ENTITY chap2 SYSTEM "chap2.sgm"> ] ?> I get parsing errors. Any ideas? Muchas gracias, Jud --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
