I am starting up a small IP Centrex company. I provide hardware, service, and support, based on an Asterisk PBX and Aastra or Polycom hardware.
My target is small business (up to 20 seats), who have a need for flexibility. I can rent hardware and service on a monthly basis, so if you need to expand for a "busy" month with a few more extensions, then scale back later, you can do that. I have run in to one or two businesses that don't know how long they are going to be around, and can't make a large up-front investment.
