Koray, Welcome! One of the easiest ways to get started with trixbox is to install a vmware image that is setup. You can find a description at nerdvittles (which is itself an excellent resource for trixbox): http://nerdvittles.com/index.php?p=152 as well as one such vmware image to download.
You will need to install the vmware player software (which is free): http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ This will get you started and you can customize it using the web interface and avoid the command line until you are interested in learning more about the various commands. Otherwise, I'm sure you will find a willing assistant on the list to help you setup a box from scratch (although it really isn't too difficult). -- sacha On 3/21/07, koray parmaks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi All- I'm a long time lurker, first time poster!! I'm hoping someone on this list "knows someone" or "is someone" that could setup a box with trixbox installed and tested, for me, for a fee. Because I lack "command line" savy, I'd really like to venture forward with a pre-built box first, to learn the ins and outs, before trying a fresh install on my own. Looking forward to your repsonses!! budding * enthusiast, Koray
