My friend is doing a purge of his equipment. He has an old device
that reads the CLID from 8 analog (POTS) lines and spits it out a
serial port. He used it back in his IVR development days when some
cards weren't capable of reading CLID.

Applications:
- Call Logger: Keep a central log of incoming calls to your fax machines
- Paperweight: Keep valuable papers from blowing off your desk
- Salvage: There's probably some neat hardware in there that reads the
data stream between the 1st and second ring. Take it apart and see
how it works.

Free to a good (or any) home. Email me if you'd like to get your
hands on this neat little piece of kit.

Dave
