I am working with a client that is looking for a new phone system,
and thought that it might be a good fit for Asterisk.
The main catch is that they are looking for some levels of
integration with a bunch of Microsoft technologies - namely Exchange,
Sharepoint and CRM.
I am also looking for some feedback from anyone with experience with
Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS), as this is also a
consideration. I see on Microsoft Technet forums that there has been
some interest in using Asterisk & OCS together.
They have a Nortel MICS system now. Head Office has about 25-30
users in the downtown core, satellite office opening soon in Toronto
(no space in HO), very small offices in Calgary & Kingston, and a 10
person office on an island in the Caribbean with only a VPN to a file
server (but would be interested in beefing this up).
They lack on-site technical expertise, so my dream fit would be
someone that could host all the technologies for them, including PBX,
and provide ongoing technical assistance.
If you have services that could help I am all ears (or eyes?!).
