Unfortunately, the software we're using, blindside, doesn't have a record
feature yet -- it's open source though, so theoretically anyone can
add that functionality ;-)

Synopsis:
This Wednesday, Michael Jerris will be giving an introduction to the design
of FreeSWITCH (http://www.freeswitch.org) including its modular architecture,
implemented functionality, and approach to development.
FreeSWITCH is an open source telephony platform designed to facilitate the
creation of voice and chat driven products scaling from a soft-phone up to a
soft-switch. It can be used as a simple switching engine, a PBX, a media
gateway or a media server to host IVR applications using simple scripts or
XML to control the callflow.
It supports various communication technologies such as SIP, H.323, IAX2 and
GoogleTalk making it easy to interface with other open source PBX systems
such as sipX, OpenPBX, Bayonne, YATE or Asterisk.
Michael Jerris has been with the FreeSWITCH project for about 3 years,
working on all areas of the code. Prior to his work on FreeSWITCH, Michael
spent several years working with asterisk as a user, bug marshall, and
developer. Prior to that, Michael spent many years running corporate wan,
network, phone and call center systems for a large enterprise including
systems from Nortel, Cisco, and concerto (Davox).
