Network Solutions is a hypocrite. About 5-6 years ago I really wanted to
sue for not allowing me to register f*ck.com. Netsol registers every
domain name combo, say f*ckyou.com (the mildest). I compiled a list of
REALLY offensive domain names as proof that they do indeed play favorites
and can't legally not allow the registration of a domain name when they've
set a precedent of registering similar domain names.

I would also urge registrar NOT to take it upon themselves to censor domain
registrations. That's not your job. Take the look at ISP's as an example.
If you play at censorship be sure to carry good insurance.

If Tucows refuses to register a domain name, that's their problem(?), but
they are also protected since they are a Canadian company. As a US
reseller it's not my business to censor or interfere in what people
register.

BTW: Even the the end user agreement would give the reseller a right to
censor that doesn't mean a pissed of purchaser won't bring legal action
against you.

Just my 2 cents. :-)
