Not always the WHOIS show the registrar,
There may be a turn around trick, by making a fake transfer, some registrar send a 
message
to confirm transfers request before it is done, tell your user not to accept that 
transfer
request, otherwise I think it is better to really transfer that domain to manage it
through OpenSRS.
