Tucows pays $6 domain to Verisign.  Assuming they have NO overhead cost,
that would be the minimum they could possibly sell domains at.
Unfortunately, they have servers, offices, and employees to pay.

$5 will *NEVER* happen unless the root registry drops their prices.
