FYI, http://dajoba.com/projects/netparsewhois is also a perl module to
parse whois info. From a quick glance, Net::XWhois seems to include better
parsing support for non-gTLD type whois objects, while Net::ParseWhois
focuses more on com/net/org and supporting different registrars.
I created the module with the idea of being able to support ''automated''
registrar transfers -- so a user wouldn't have to re-enter their
contact/org/nameserver info. It's probably worth a look if anyone out
there hasn't already gone with Net::XWhois.
