My company DAYAK (dayak.com) is shortly to be dissolved. We have a good
amount of clients, both hosting and domain ordering, renewals, etc. The
company itself is in the black, with 2 colocation clients as well. I had to
leave the country and left everything to be run by irresponsible partners.
To make it short, I'm accept beft offers for the company and it's clients
base, or someone with a good referral system where I can send all our
clients, the domain registrants/renewals, and collect risidual income off of
that.
The referal host would have to be running unix on their own servers, and
added to the deal, I would like to have a few of my personal sites
(completely unrelated to domain registration or hosting) hosted as well. I
would need ssh access, PHP and MySQL on the server as well. Payments would
have to be either wired to me, or sent through e-gold.com
If this sounds doable, please contact me asap with the details of your offer
and information about your current business (how long you've been a
reseller/host provider, how are you connected to the net (and who's your
upstream provider), etc). In addition, I'm and RHCE and wouldn't mind
donating my services to facilitate any domain moves.
Lastly, I've designed an automated hosting system which I can either sell,
or license for profit sharing. The front end is based on PHP, which creates
a small config file of the format: (<domain name>:<ip>:<port>) Then, Apache
reads this in on startup (instead of the usual httpd.conf) using mod_perl
and auto-configures itself, as well as sets up all the hosting directories
and configures the fpt server (ProFTPD).
