Hello again, I've had a *lot* of good questions on this (thanks for the replies!), so perhaps the $50/month deal bears some further explanation on the list: The intent is to provide a really killer base price on colocation for the majority of clients who don't need enormous amounts of data transfer. It is intended for those who will use under approximately 5GB/month, for secondary MX, DNS, web mirror, hosting a growing web site, etc. Heck, even small virtual hosting providers could get a good start with 5GB/month of reliable bandwidth... and we have the capacity to smoothly scale to rows of racks and several orders of magnitude with the bandwidth as you need it. For instance, I spoke with one individual who is paying $150/month for 128K ISDN, only about 10% utilized. Kick the ISDN to the curb, get a $25/month ADSL or cable connection for yourself, move your services over to a monitored network, and save some money while you're at it, I said. :-) Thanks again to all who have replied so far, - Ryan > The racks are air conditioned, secure, monitored, and backup power > ports are available for a little extra.
