"Nomination Night" - DNC Watch Party (Thurs @ 8:30PM, Hamilton 100)
Join us this Thursday, August 28 at 8:30PM to gather with other Young
Dems and Obamaniacs to watch and celebrate Sen. Obama's nomination
speech.

INTERN for the OBAMA Campaign!
For those interested in making a significant commitment to electing
Barack Obama and other Democrats statewide, apply to be a Campus
Organizing Fellow and receive three hours of course credit through the
Political Science department.
Campus Organizing Fellows will attend a workshop on topics including
voter registration, voter persuasion, and the fundamentals of campaign
organizing. These trainings will be led by guest trainers from the
Obama campaign, the North Carolina Democratic Party, and local
nonprofits.
Once trained, Fellows will become official interns of the Obama for
America campaign and the North Carolina Democratic Party.
In addition, Fellows commit to spending at least 10 hours per week
organizing students to vote. This time can be spent on campus in the
Pit registering voters, at the official Obama for America / NC for
Change campaign office in Chapel Hill, or on weekend trips canvassing
nearby neighborhoods.
No prior campaign experience is required. To apply, visit
