From their convention to this day, the GOP has fiercely attacked Sen. Obama in a desperate attempt to distract us from the gross failures of their policies at home and abroad. The depth of their distortions challenges the idea that truth even matters in politics. Well, Carolina students deserve better than the 'blizzard of lies' McCain-Palin offers in this election and we're ready to work for the change we need. TAKE ACTION 1) VOLUNTEER: You can volunteer anytime Mon-Fri from 9AM-8PM. Just email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with specific times that you would like to volunteer (i.e. Wed, 12-2pm). For this week, volunteers will be passing out pro-Democratic literature, call undecided North Carolinians, register new voters. You can also just drop by our office (Union Rm 3512E) anytime to volunteer even if you haven't signed up. No experience required! 2) EXPAND OUR NETWORK: Help us spread the word about voter registration, early voting, and upcoming events by using this link to invite your friends to the 'UNC Young Democrats' Facebook group - http://www.new.facebook.com/groups/edit.php?gid=2200078429&members=1. 3) FLOOD PIT ON MONDAY: Good Morning America is shooting a special on the youth vote tomorrow (Mon) and will be following us around all day.
