The Georgia Supreme Court has refused to stay the execution of  Troy
Davis although witnesses have recanted their testimony and three  others
claim that a man who took the stand against Davis confessed to  the
killing.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Davis is scheduled  to be put to
death on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Troy Davis still has an appeal in  with the US
Supreme Court.
