We're only 6 hours and $47,652 away from putting ourselves in the strongest
possible position as we enter these last two weeks.
Just as fast as we can process contributions, I'm sending money from the
massive Democratic grassroots to the campaigns that need your urgent aid the
most. The nationwide scope is truly staggering.
We just added Georgia as our 12th battleground state. We saw a new poll this
morning showing us tied in Kentucky. It's all forcing us to stretch our
campaign resources even further, so every dollar you and all the thousands of
committed Democrats give before midnight tonight helps us win Georgia and
Kentucky without sacrificing another race we need for that filibuster-proof
majority.

Our movement is in a terrific position to make history in less than two weeks.
I look at the polls all day long, and let me tell you, our leads in states like
North Carolina and Colorado have me convinced that a filibuster-proof majority
really is within reach. It's all right there, but we have to keep working
night and day to make it happen.
The other side sees the same numbers I do. We've already witnessed disturbing
campaign tactics and out-and-out lies from the Republicans, and it's only going
to get even dirtier and even nastier. Just hours ago, we learned that Elizabeth
Dole in North Carolina loaned her campaign $3 million to fund her smear machine
in the final days.
Unless we get a $5 contribution from you and meet this goal, I don't know if
the DSCC will be able to fight back in all 12 battleground races.
