Last week, we launched an urgent plan to get key Obama supporters to vote
early. We did the math, and to reach every voter on our list the plan requires
100,000 volunteer hours. That's a huge goal but -- thanks to your amazing
response -- we're almost there.
As I write, we need just 16,453 more volunteer hours to fully power the
statewide plan. Can you put in a few hours this weekend to help put us over the
top? Just sign up online, and we'll get back to you right away to find a time
that works for you at an office in your area:

As a volunteer, you'll be talking to likely supporters of Barack who may need
an extra nudge to get to the polls. You'll remind them that they can vote
early, tell them where they can cast their ballot, and explain what they need
to bring with them so it all goes smoothly. It's a great service that people
really appreciate -- and it works -- but to pull it off we all need to pitch in
together.
This weekend is our last, best chance to reach folks while they can still vote
early. With 11 days left, almost every North Carolina poll shows us in a dead
heat. When the dust settles on November 4th, these early votes will likely be
the margin of victory or defeat.
