I think by now you have the answer that these "critters" really can leap! I was loading up some young lambs to go to the sale barn one year. I had some ewes that were VERY skiddish. when I came back into the barn where I had them one of these ewes met me. I'm almost 6' foot and caught her by the legs as she went by my shoulder!
