We use regular cattle wire all around but always make sure that when going to catch & work them that we coax them into an area with a cattle panel or higher fence. & we don't seem to have much problem. Although from time to time a horn will get caught and we will have to get them out. These ewes normally get into a habit of eating on the other side of the fence since the grass always seems to be greener there! Nancy>
