hello everyone!

I am going to be on the road starting APR 11th and will be on the road a LOT up into mid JUN - that means that I will be planning trips while I am on the road - that is VERY difficult so communication becomes critical so that I don't 'lose' a load of animals!

The first step of the trip is to deliver Bella the poodle service dog to her new owner in Nashville TN - I picked up Bella in Montana a few days ago after a nationwide search found a breeder in Montana (Debbiespoodles.com) that has the puppies needed for this project (bloodlines that have proven histories as service animals). I am planning on buying the puppies using my income tax refund. Transport from Montana to Tennessee will be free with the female pup going in April and the male pup going in June. I have made the commitment to pay for all of this myself but I sure would appreciate some assistance! The new owner is an autistic child who has put together a plan to breed, train, and sell service dog pups. She has made all the plans and they are realistic! Quite a project for an autistic child! Thanks to everyone who has donated to this point!

On APR 14th I will be at the Splash of Color boer goat sale in Murfreesboro TN. I will arrange for animals purchased at the sale needing to go westbound to be transported to DoubleJ (one of the consignors) in OK. I will meet them again in OK after I complete the 'eastern' loop described below. I will be making a westcoast counterclockwise loop so I should be able to deliver sale animals all over the west. So start bidding! Contact me for fee information and to give me a 'heads up' on who might be bidding and needing transport.

After the sale I will jump over into VA to pick up a miniature bull and heifer that are going to NE and CO respectively. Then I will pick up a load of rare Barbadoes sheep near StLouis MO for delivery to southeast TX.

Once in TX I will pick up another miniature bull going to OR and some goats going to WA. If needed I can switch from my small Bruton trailer to my big double decker while going through TX. Then I will go north to OK to pick up any sale animals that came from the TN sale.

The route west will be via NE CO OR and WA modified by the needs of the sale animals. I will be unloading and reloading along the way. From WA I head south through OR to far south CA before turning east along I-10 through AZ NM and west TX back to home in Austin TX.

During mid MAY I will be adding to the plans for the MAY JUN coast to coast trip. The trip begins with a load of sale consigned boer goats going to the Memorial Day Touch of Color sale in PA. I am very close to maximum loading on the TX to PA segment. I plan to deliver the sale animals on THU prior to the sale so that the owner can get them prepared for the sale.

During my free time THU to SAT I will be making deliveries and pick ups in the OH PA NewEngland area. I will arrive back at the sale location on SAT to pick up sale animals needing transport. My route westbound will be determined by where sale animals need to go. My goal is to get to Portland OR to begin the eastbound segment of the JUN trip.

The JUN trip starts in OR and has deliveries going as far east as IL and TN. I will deliver the second poodle pup to Nashville then. I can extend the trip further eastbound if needed. I just need your reservations!

I will be checking email while on the road but it is difficult to do detailed planning while on the road. Please help me by including from/to city/state and animal identification information in EACH email. Do not depend upon my memory to keep details separate and current. Feel free to keep double checking with me to make sure I have not lost you in the shuffle. Messages sent to my Yahoo TravelWithRonK group will be monitored several times daily by my sister Mary. She can contact me via phone in time critical situations. Messages sent to my rkee...@realtime.net private email will be read when I make (hopefully) daily WiFi checks from on the road. Due to on the road circumstances I may not be able to make daily checks on my private email.

In spite of the apparent complexity of all the above I am still running a very slim financial situation. There are lots of animals above but there are also lots of miles. MILES ARE EXPENSIVE! Your reservation may be the one that raises me over the threshold of being able to pay all my expenses and have a reserve in case of on the road repairs. With trips this long it is almost guaranteed that I will need repairs at some point. TravelWithRonK has been around for 13 years and is the only transport service dedicated to small quantities of small livestock.

Please help keep me on the road by using the coast to coast transport service you can depend upon!
