RE: Heathers question. We have horned blackbellys that we have applied for registration after 7 years of accurate record keeping. Our herd is on the Oregon coast @ Nehalem. Our "partners" in Eagle Creek, Or and Redland, Or follow our lead on pricing and breeding. We have been selling lambs of both sexes for $75.00. Culls are sold @ $100.00 but we retain those for a while to add size. When our registrations are approved our lamb prices will be increased. Locker lambs will probably remain close to or at $100.00. With all the available sources of meat (steers, swine, elk etc) in Tillamook County we think that is about right. Hope this helps!
