My 'lambs' usually come in with a carcass weight around 45 pounds. This isn't reached at 5 months. Mine are closer to 1 year. But I'm not feedlot feeding. They gain on hay/pasture and a little grain. That's the beauty of BB, they can gain enough on less feed, and are so lean. They only thing I find is that you have to educate the consumer... they must know how to cook the meat to get the best results.
