I tested my flock of 6 for OPP, CL, Q fever, and Johne's. Two of the ewes' results came back "borderline" for Johne's. They all were neg. on everything else. The test used was ELISA. I had it tested at PAVLab in TX.
Right now, I have these two ewes seperated from the rest. I emailed Bob Glass at PAVL and he suggested to retest in 60-90 days. I looked into having a fecal test done at our University (WI), but the cost is $16 per sample, and the results can take up to 20 weeks because of the slow-growing organisim.
