John, The source of that particular information was an article in the Country World Newpaper out of Sulphur Springs, Texas. The article was titled "New scrapie rules in effect in Texas; ear tags or tattoos required ". Paragraph 12 reads," In the last 15 months, four infected flocks have been detected. In three herds, infection was found in flocks outside of Texas and was traced to animal movement to Texas. The infected flocks were found in Indiana, Oklahoma and California. The fourth flock was found by tracing movement out of one of the Texas flocks."
