Hello Jeff, I think everyone might have a different solution to your problem. Remember I have not seen the animal. First I would trim the hoof taking the torn section and all the infected area off. This will make it bleed some. I think it is important to take all the infected area off and the only way is to make it bleed. Then I would put some iodine on it, then kopertox (spelling?) on it. I would do this at least one time each day, hopefully you have time to do it more. I would also give her a shot of LA200 every other day and keep an eye on the foot. I hope this helps and maybe someone else has another suggestion for you.
