[blackbelly] Strange sheep/enclosures

Hi everyone! Have really enjoyed the conversations about enclosures for the 
BB's. We have a run that's about 8 foot wide and has a gate crossways in the 
middle to squeeze them off. Then we push them into the barn and then 
separate. It works pretty well for us. They sure know when we move that gate 
in closer though - these are SMART sheep!
Speaking of sheep, we have a spring ewe who is quite strange. Pippy is the 
smaller of a set of twins born in March from a 1st time mom. She started to 
grow scurs which I know is not uncommon. But now she has scurs about 7" long 
on one side - she broke the other side off when she was younger so the other 
side is about 4 ". She also has a beard down her neck. She is the strangest 
ewe lamb I've ever seen. Is this not uncommon either? Just curious. We're 
debating whether to butcher her or try to breed her.  Sue Miller
