I have been very happy with our straight-bred BB. We have a 50"tall field fencing with a hot wire running inside it (at about 36" height). We work our Border Collie on the sheep and they have never offered to jump the fence to get away. Once they get used to you, Barbs are easy to handle (lightweight!) and seem to have a little more on the ball mentally. When we had woolies, if the weather turned windy or rainy, they would just stand out there and get wet--hence, lots of upper respiratory stuff would start. The Barbs head straight for the barn in inclement weather. Have had almost no health problems whatsoever. I like these guys!
