Jennifer, I agree, the Blackbelly ewes look pretty small compared to others! Ours average about 80-90 lbs or so, with a couple a little larger than that. We do have one that we call our"dwarf" who is only about 50 lbs. Our ram is about 130 lbs, so even he is not very big. The nice thing is that they are small enough that I can handle them without needing my husband's help all the time!
